I chose the glasses, the library, and the owl as when I think of Nick Carraway I think of a very educated individual who simply knows what he is doing. Nick is a special character to me as he is an introvert, just like me. Nick often observes all the small details in the novel, and is blessed with knowing the true Jay Gatsby. Nick is often the peacemaker between Daisy and Gatsby, which explains why I chose the dove as an image. I chose a picture of a family as it seems that Nick was the only one who truly cared about his family and his loved ones. Even if Nick had gained money and power, I feel like Nick would have stayed the same humble person. I chose an image of waves as Nick was very calm throughout the novel, and reduced the tension in many of the chapters.

In Nick's words:
I chose the image of a paper and pencil as I often observe everything that happens in New York. I observe everything that happens at parties, even if it means that I have to talk to Owl Eyes. I like my small isolated home as I have time to myself. I can escape reality and the corrupt wealthy folk. Through thick and thin, I hold on to my loved ones.
